Thursday 27th May 2021 was supposed to be THE DAY. The day that 80 GOPA members from UK, Europe and America had planned to meet in Oban, Scotland after failing to make it in 2020. Sadly life – more specifically – Covid 19 – got in the way and all was cancelled, yet again.

Some UK members, keen to travel somewhere now that lockdown restrictions in the UK had eased, kept their hotel reservations and, in a completely unorganised way, 17 of us in 11 aircraft and one electric car, found ourselves staying at the Falls of Lora Hotel, that Thursday evening and for the next few days.
